I am descended from William Jackson and Abigail Gillum (Gilliam)Jackson's son, William. I started researching my family history about ten years ago but haven't done much with it in the last few years. William,(Junior)married Mary Redden (Redding). We believe her father to be John Redden, the revolutionary war soldier, mother unknown. Abigail's parents are still a mystery, as are William Senior's. I would be willing to share any information that might be helpful. Most of the family did leave North Carolina in the early 1800's and settled in Indiana.
