I don't think the Harris Gilliam listed in Grundy County is the same one listed on your Jordan's will. The Harris Gilliam listed there was born in Laurens Co., SC to Charles Gilliam and Sarah Ann Smith. He does have a brother William who was also born in Laurens Co., SC and who died in Franklin Co, TN in 1841.
Alice Gilliam Womack reported that her great grandfather Charles Gilliam and his second wife, Sarah Ann Smith moved from Virginia to Laurens County, SC, then on to Fanklin Co., TN. Other sources state that the family stopped first in Knox Co. and then on to Franklin around 1812.
