I am looking for information about Linus Gillette born 1833 in Rushford, Allegany Co., N.Y. Son of Ezekiel and Lorena (Swift) Gillette. Linus had a brother named Van Rensellaer (sp) or V.R. or "Doc". Linus married Elizabeth Wheeler and had twin sons in Erie County, PA on 6/20/1867. The sons names were John B. & George W. George W. is my husband's grandfather and died 9/9/1949 in Van Nuys, CA. Any information about this family would greatly appreciated.
