Like you, I have wondered what might have become of Floras research. I'd
hate to think that her papers are collecting mold in someones cellar.
There's no doubt that she spent a lot of time and did a comprehensive and
extensive compilation of information on Gilletts. The fact that you and I
seem to be the only ones aware of her work might indicate that she did not
get a wide distribution of her work. I'm not an expert by any means, and
although I'm aware of some mistakes in her genealogies, I believe that this
collection would probably be the most extensive and comprehensive work
available for Gillett research.

As for your idea of offering to index the collection, just for kicks I did a
quick count of names on one page and came up with 65 (estate listings), if
the average is 50 names x 200 pages per Vol. x 5 vols.........50,000
names....Eakes!!!
Every time I go to Syracuse I copy a few pages and send them off to Carol at
the Salmon Brook Hist. Soc. in Granby, my suggestion to them that there
should be some kind of an inter-library courtesy discount on these copies
was met with a big "you gotta be kidding me" grin.

So, let me know if you come up with a location of her research papers.
While I have my line, I'd still love to know that her work was available
somewhere for Gillett researchers.
