My great grandfather, Jesse Gillett, moved to TN from Macomb Co. to grow a grape vineyard after his 2nd marriage (Eliz. Johnaon) Hawley. His first marriage was with Anna Mook of Ohio.
Children of the first marriage were Maria, born Mar. 5, 1839, Asenath K., born Dec.2,1844, Luella, Mar. 10, 1850. Anna F.,Sept. 10, 1855 and Benjamin 1847, died 1850. My gd'pa. 2nd mg., name jesse married Lillian Carter Wrinkle while attending med. school in Tenn.. Her gd'pa, Wm. James Carter was the first sheriff of Bradley Co.
I have been trying to find more info about the Wrinkles and the Carters. Lillian;s mother was Elizabeth Ann Carter who married Rufus Wrinkle.
My gd'pa, Jesse, born 7-16-1865 and sister Nellie May, born 10-30-1867 in Monroe Co, Mi.
