I am trying to connect with those who may have family information on John James McDonald Gillette, b. 26 May 1872, Iowa; d. 08 December 1941, California. California death record states parents as McDougal and McDonald. Birth parents: Rachel D. McDougal and McDonald, male (first name unknown). Following death of McDonald, wife (Rachel D.) remarried E. Gillette. E. Gillette subsequently adopted John James McDonald, and henseforth, he took the name of John James Gillette. Thank you for your help.
