Looking for information about the my ancestors, the Gillet family, who came from Calais,France in about 1851. Louis Sr., Louis Jr. and Joseph Lucien arrived together. Louis Sr. was married to Valentine Guilbert Gillet, who joined her family 5 years later with another son, Julian, and her mother, Maria Guilbert. I am hoping to find information about this family prior to their arrival in America. Will gladly share information.
