This one's a needle in a haystack, but here goes: my ancestor, Francella GILLETTE was born in Jackson, MI on 5/7/1853. Her mother died at or shortly after her birth, and Francella's father put his daughter in a convent where she was raised until age 18. Not sure if this convent was in MI or NY, as Francella married at age 19 in NY. Father may have passed before she left the convent. Mother should be buried in Michigan, but not sure about that either. They may have been born in France. Looking for any info at all on Francella's parents. No siblings known. Help! Thanks a lot!.
