Martha Mills 1st on 21 Nov-1700, and Hannah Clark 2nd. He married Hanna 26-Feb-1704. My line from Martha Mills. Jonah Gillett m. Elizabeth Granger; Margere Gillett m. Elijah Goodrich b; 03-Jul-1724 in Wethersfield, Cn; Jesse Goodrich (Revolutionary War) m. Dinah Bishop; Meshach Goodrich B 19 Dec 1794 in Rensselaer Co., NY, d. 20-Dec-1880 Franklin Cemetery, Hancock co, Carthage, Illinois married Rebecca Ruddell (Ruddle)b. 17-Nov-1798 in Shenandoah Co., VA. They m. there 09-May-1815. She d. 24-Mar-1888. Buried with same; Sarah A. Goodrich (I have a sepia sketch of both!)b. 1820 Shenandoah Col, VA, d. 09-Apr-1898, married Alexander Mereaux. His name changed to Mero (wrongly written "Muro" in Illinois census). Alexander born 09-Jan-1818 in Montreal, Canada. They married in Napa, California. He d. 14-Dec-1900. They are both buried in the Tulocay Cemetry, Napa, Calif. Charles William Mero, their son, b. 09-Apr-1861 in Warsaw, Hancock Co., Illinois, d. 22-Jul-1930 in Fort Bragg, CA. His wife, Kathleen (b. Catherine) Agnes Callaghan, b. 09-Feb-1863 N.S.W., sydney, Australia, m. 08-Apr-1883 Napa, CA. Died 09-June-1937, San Francisco, CA. Buried with husband in Rose Memorial Park, Ft. Bragg, CA. Has anyone here information on the Alexander Mereaux/Mero line who married Sarah Goodrich? His son, Charles Mero is written about in the Napa-Mendocino County History.
