(Bolling) Gillette, daughter of Alexander and Adeline (Gentry) Bolling.Children: Edna F. (Chicago, IL); Frederick B. (Hinsdale, MT)
Frederick completed his education in old South Division High School in Chicago. After graduation, he worked in a wholesale metal company and later at the Northern Assurance Company.In 1904, he came to Montana to take up a claim on government land and farmed there for several years.When he finally abandoned farming, he worked as an operator for the Great Northern Railway at Hinsdale, MT.In 1912, Frederick was appointed United States commissioner at Hinsdale.In March 1915, he was employed by the Imperial Elevator Company as their Hinsdale manager.
On 2 Aug 1916, Missoula, MT, Frederick married Miss Marguerite Noeth.Gillette child: Frederick B., Jr., born 10 May 1918.
