William Gillett, m. 1822 in CT

One of my mysteries is William Gillett (Gillit), the first husband of Julia Antoinette Beach. They were married 26 Feb 1822 in New Milford, Litchfield, CT. Julia was born 22 Nov 1804 in Bridewater, Litchfield Co., CT. She married Jonathan Fuller 6 Sep 1832 in New Milford, so William probably died before then.
Does anyone know anything about William? parents? did they have children, etc.
