I wonder if someone could help me with the Gillespies in TN. My neighbor was adopted as an infant and is trying to contact his brother whom we assume was adopted also. His f. was John Thomas Gillespie from Atlanta, GA. His m. Bessie Brown Foster.. Johns M. is Louise and Bessies M. is Carrie. Carrie had a sister Roberta Eason. John and Bessie would prob m. 1938/1939. 1st son Kenneth was born in 1940 in prob. Nashville, TN. 2nd son Donald was born in 1946 in Nas, TN. Donald was adopted and has the adoption records. They were turned over to TN and last record shows the mother Bessie picking up Kenneth around 1949 when he was then 9 and no other records. It appears that John Thomas returned to Atlanta GA, where he was from. Bessie stayed in TN, we think. Have done no research and am hoping someones records might pick them up. Anyone HELP??
