DO you know what links this Renison family might have to this Gilleland family?Hugh Gilleland was the father in law to John Renison in Butler...Middlesex Township I believe.

Will Book "A" Butler County, PA 1825
In the name of God Amen, I John Renison Jr. of the County of Butler Commonwealth of Pennsylvania being weak in Body but in sound mind and in the due exercise of Reason calling go mind my mortality that it is appointed to all men once to die do make and ordain this my last will and testament in the form and manner following that is to say principally and first of all I Recommend my soul to God who gave it and my body to the dust to be buried in a decent manner as my Executor think proper, and as for such worldly goods as God has been pleased to Endow me with I give devise and dispose of them in the following manner viz first I allow all my just and lawful debts to be paid. Second I allow _____ (untell?) my Beloved wife Sarah Reneson the house where I now live in with the hundred acres of land that was willed to me by my father John Renison with all the appurtenances belonging thereto likewise all my moveable property for the use and support of the children to have and to hol the same so long as She remains my widow or until my Son Armstrong Renison arrives at the years of twenty-one then the place where I now Reside in with the hundred acres of land falls into his hand with all the appurtenances thereto belonging by paying to my Eldest daughter Elizabeth Renison and to my youngest daughter Mary Jane Renison five dollars and to maintain and support his Mother during her natural life or as long as She Remains my widow moreover I constitute my father-in-law Hugh Gilleland my whole and Sole Executor of this my last will and testament Revoking dis_______ and making Void all former wills by me made I do Ratify an confirm this my last will and testament and in Witness hereoff I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this fourteenth day of June one thousand eight hundred and twenty-five.
