Good Morning! We have been out of town so I haven't been able to respond to you until now. My Grandmother was Anna Ruth Gillam. She married John S. Harley in Orangeburg SC and their first child, Mildred Ruth Harley was my mother. She married Frank Bush of Inman SC and I am his oldest and only daughter- Anna Harley Bush.I married Lewis Harris Waters. I don't remember a lot about her except that she was devoted to me and soooo loving. And, so much fun. I remember being in the car with her laughing and playing. We use to go to Folly beach every summer and have a wonderful time. I do remember she was sick much of the time. I have always wanted to know what she died from and why she was so sick. Do you know.
I remember playing with Pam as a little girl in Orangeburg. Does she have an email address?
I don't know much about the Gillam family but would love to. We have done some research and know that my my grandmother's mother lived with them until she died. Also, my grandmother had a brother that lived next door- I think.
My husband and I live in Inman SC now. We lived in Virginia for many years. He was with thr Federal Gov. in DC working for BLM Department of Interior. Our 2 children and 5 grandchildren still live there. When we retired we came back HOME!
Thank for responding to my email.
