I am not related to this lady or her husband but, I thought someone may need the information.
Nona L. Gillam
Nona L. Gillam, 100, of Salina, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008. She was born in Junction City on June 7, 1908, and was preceded in death by her husband, John N. Gillam, in 1975. They resided in Salina, Kansas, for many years, then moved to Long Beach, CA, in 1956, where she was employed by the Lakewood Public School District. She was a member of Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Gillam and wife Betty, of Salina, and Ron Gillam and wife Jean, of Longmont, CO; five grandchildren: Jack Gillam and wife Kim, of Salina, Jay Gillam and wife Terri, of Lawrence, Jeff Gillam and wife Lynn, of Salina, Ron Gillam and wife Sandi, of Logan, Utah, and Steve Gillam and wife Kellie, of Broomfield, CO; and 9 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of the First Presbyterian Church, 308 S. 8th Street, Salina, at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7. The family requests no flowers. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Sterling House or Hospice, all of Salina, in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th, Salina 67401.
