I`M FROM LEXINGTON,KY. I`VE TRACKED THE GILKISONS`TO WILLIAM GILKISON BORN ABT. 1808. MY GRANDPA`S NAME WAS CHANGED TO GILKERSON ALONG WITH HALF OF HIS SIBLINGS.THIS WAS DONE BY A SCHOOL MARM IN FLEMING CO.,KY. AROUND 1915.
