John Gile, the author of the GUILE - GILE - GUILES Genealogy (1997) , is happy to announce that he and his wife Joy celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on April 25, 2005 in Victoria, BC with family members. We have 10 children, 24 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren (so far!). We were married at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Winnipeg, Canada in 1945, while I was on a short leave from service in the U.S. Air Force.
