I am interested in the date sequence of the Genealogy. It was prepared in 1926. If the information concerning Richard 1 was made by Willard Harvey Gildersleeve at that time. I wonder way he did not include it in his "Pioneers" published in 1941. I also have many draft papers and letters hand written by Willard as late as 1965 with no mention. If the ancestory is correct it would be of great help to me as I have been trying for many years to come up with a connection.
Richard P. M. Gildersleeve
