Carol, my family records have an Elizabeth Gildersleeve married to a John Rock Smith. Elizabeth was the daughter of Richard Gildersleeve and Jo Anna Appleton. John Rock Smith was the son of John Smith and Isabel ?. A daughter of John Rock Smith and Elizabeth Gildersleeve was Mary Rock Smith who married Samuel Denton.
Samuel Denton and Mary Rock Smith had the following children;

7.Abraham

9.Martha
10.Elizabeth
Jonas Denton was married twice. His first wife was Jane Hardenbrock and they had the following children;
