Donna, I wanted to let you know I was digging through one of my binders and came across something that might be of interest to you, probably at a later date. Here goes:
Per the Mayo North Family Research Center in Ireland, there was a listing for the following Gildea Family.
John Gildea (son of James) married to Mary Mehody (daughter of Edward) on February 11, 1866 in the Parish of Kilfian. Both from the townland of Ross. Their children are as follows:
John (1871), Patt (1867), Mary Anne (1869), James (1872), Catherine (1874), James (1876), Thomas (1881), Mary Anne (1884), Bridget (1885), Edward Joseph (1888).
If these ever come into play for you, let me know... I have all the children's birth and baptismal dates.
