Yes, I am the admin of the project, but not a descendant of either line. I have, however, spent time looking at all the Gilbert records in the Barbour Collection and some other New England records, and it's very easy to to jump to conclusions about who various Gilbert men and are as they wander about from town to town.

I'm of the mindset that there's another Gilbert immigrant we haven't identified whose descendants became completely intermixed with the Braintree line.
