This is an unbelievable amount of info. Did it all come from the book The Gilbert Family -Descendants of Thomas Gilbert 1582(?)-1659...etc? I am interested in the line Richard, Thomas, Josiah, Moses, Josiah, Moses 1723, Moses 1757. Is there any proof that Moses 1723 was the father of Moses 1757? I am related to the Moses Gilbert buried in the All Saints Anglican Church Cem, Dunham, Quebec died Dec 28, 1822 ae 68 - which would make his DOB 1754 but I still believe there is a connection. Is there any information on the children of Moses 1723? Also buried in the same cemetary is Capt John Gilbert (b Hinesdale MA) 1779-1857 - there is no Hinesdale MA, I believe this to be Hillsdale NY. So I believe John is the child of Moses 1757.
