Gary, in 1860 Marion is in Shelby Co TX, at age 3, living with his parents Thomas G Gilbert and Mary Whiteside/es Gilbert .... the ones who were married in Blount Co AL in 1842.
Thomas G Gilbert was son to William and Leanna Gilbert who were in Bradley Co AR.
the confusing part is Thomas has a son William, one Augustus Marion, and then a Marion William. !! so great fun.
