I have two original carte de visite photographs of “Bert Gilbert” and daughter “Carrie Gilbert Watson”, which I’d like to get back to descendants or family members. Photos were taken in Stoughton (Dane Co.) WI, and Carrie looks to be about 18 months old, while Bert is about 25.

I found the family of Bert Gilbert, his wife Emily, and four children in the 1880 census for Fond du Lac Co., WI. Bert was age 32 and Carrie was 11 months old.

I have two other Gilbert photos taken in Stoughton, WI who are likely related to Bert Gilbert. They are Dora Gilbert (about age 20) and Lottie Gilbert Sanders (about 22).
