Former Sheriff Dies Suddenly
Weatherford, Texas, May 6: S. S. GILBERT died suddenly in the lobby of the post office Monday. He had been attending business as usual during the day although his health had not been good for some time. Mr. Gilbert served two terms as sheriff and two terms as commissioner of Parker County. In the dairy business several years, he had lived all his life in this county. Surviving are his four sons and four daughters.
