Early Burke Co., NC Gilberts
Posted by: Jane Gilbert (ID *****9010) Date: February 18, 2008 at 17:35:49

Is anyone researching these Gilberts? I'm especially trying to find out where the John in 1800 ended up as he was gone by 1810. We're trying to hunt down a Joshua Gilbert b. 1794 in NC who landed in Indiana in the early 1800s. This Joshua is bearing the DNA of the Thomas Gilbert of Braintree, MA line.
