Bruno Ruiz de Porras y Martinez de Junquera (1811 - ?) was my great great grandfather. He was married to Emilia Gil de Taboada and had four sons (Francisco, Antonio, Carmelo & Jose)and three daughters (Dolores, Josefina & Mercedes). They were probably married in Trinidad de Cuba where he was raised (not yet proven, they could have been married in Puerto Rico). Bruno was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela. His father, Pedro, was a career military figure in the Spanish government in the "New World". Bruno migrated to Puerto Rico where he followed his father's footsteps in the Spanish military government in the island. He settled in the island and raised his family there. If you need more info please let me know.
