Believe Friedrich W. Giese was born no later than 1809. His wife's year of birth is based on Fayette Co., TX census records for 1860 & 1870. Their oldest son, Johannes Adam Giese, Sr. was born 11/22/1825 in Hessia, Prussia and married Anna Maria Catherine Jungermann (born 8/26/1836 Hanover) on 6/11/1854 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Round Top, Fayette Co., TX. Their next child, Ludwig Henrich Giese, was born abt 1836 in Texas.
