I live in Gastonia, NC.
I'll send you a picture of Elizabeth Tanner Gidney's grave marker. I was hoping at some point I would be able to get her and William a foot marker with their info on it, but we're retired, and live on fixed income. The last time I was there, the writing on them was almost gone.
William Landrum Gidney is buried at Riverside Cem. in Asheville. The death cert. gave his address at time of death, but the writing is awful, and I can't read it.
I might also mention that William Landrum Gidney was married to a Magaha girl in Jackson Co. NC before he married Florence's mother. They had 2 daughters, and then she ran away with another man, and left him with the girls. Ther were raised by their Magaha grandparents. At some point he moved to Asheville. He had several children who lived in that area.
