Terry, Your message piqued my interest for a couple of reasons.My ancestors settled in Alabama in the mid 1840's and twins ran in their families. I am not familiar with the Able Community but if it is near Anniston, Gadsden or Jacksonville, we probably are kin.My direct ancestor was Nicholas Gidley and he left Alabama bound for Texas in the early 1880's,his brother's names were: 1. James Gidley (as was his father's) 2.John and 3. Richard and 4.Thomas. There are also lots of sisters.
