Hi Judith - thanks for your interest in Henry Colman Gidley. He was my great-grandfather - I already have copies of his marriage certificate (to my great-grandmother Esther Jenkins) and his early death 8yrs.later. I am researching both GIDLEY and COLEMAN families (his mother was Sarah Coleman, hence the "Colman" as his second name). Although George and Sarah lived at West Teignmouth in Devon his family came from Honiton on Otter in Devon , parents being Courtenay and Margaret Gidley. I would be very interested to see his George Gidley's entry in the 1841 census as I don't have access to that. Do you know whether or not he and Sarah had any children other than Henry Colman Gidley (born 1829) and Mary Colman Gidley (born 1832) ? Hope to hear back from you - regards from Pamela
