I am researching the Giddings line also. I
have a Thomas Giddings, Sr., b. 1863 in Ipswich, MA who had a son Thomas, Jr. b. 1723. Thomas, Jr. married Mary Coult, had 12 chrn., was a Capt. in the French/Indian War. He died May 26, 1790 and is buried in Hartland, CT. The Dea. stands for Deacon -several Giddings were Deacons in the church.
Will be glad to share information.
M. Wendt
