Rays, I do have copy of Reuben's signature 28 April 1853 on sale of land in Red River Co. Tx. It is notarized . His signautre looks unhealthy. I have notes that he died in 1854. Sure would be nice to connect Reuben to the Giddens in Wayne Co. N.C. prio to 1790 or to anyone for that matter. My sister has deed copies where Richard Franklin Giddens received land in Red River Co. on a Spanish land grant. I believe she said it is dated 1833 or 34. I have asked her to send me a copy but she seems to be slow getting around to it.
