What I have been attempting is to piece together a missing puzzle that does not get much attention. Richard Franklin Giddens had a child with a woman we have only heard was called Easter. When RFG passed in 1870 or abouts. She, meaning Easter built a house that sat either in front or back of the main house, this house was built with assistance of Peter Giddens (slave); Peter was brought by way of MO secertly purchased from Neeley, by RFG; and may have been the missing brother of a famous person. The child Richard Giddens (birth 1865 or 1867 ) (grand pap) was said to have been a hand at John Hamiltons after the death of his father Richard Franklin Giddens; he married Charity Wooten who had Three girls Jewel, Ethal, Ollie and Richard and Charity had Isabel and Dinwiddie Giddens . Please I need to piece together a piece of lost history of Salves and Free non-white Giddens of the era of 1860's - 1900's of Red River County Texas, Annona, Dekalb, Big Sandy, Clarksville; and does anyone know where the name Neely came from and how they may be related to Wooten,Giddens? God Bless you all and thank you for helping with my insanity. Smile (O:
