I had his father as Thomas RS as well, but thats all i have on the father. The wife Mary "Pollie" Nevill i have her line back several generations. I will list them from oldest to youngest.
1.James Nevill came to America in 1702 and landed in Beufort Co,NC. There he was granted land about a year later in 1703 for having paid his passage to America as well as the passages of several others.
2. Jacob Nevill was the son of James.Wife unkown
3. John Nevill (b 1744 Beufort Co,NC d 1803 Bulloch Co,GA) was the son of Jacob. He married Frances Ann Mixon on 13 Oct. 1768 in St Matthews Parrish, (now Effingham Co) GA. Frances Ann Mixon ( b 1752 d 1815 GA).
4. Jacob Nevill was the son of John & Frances. He was born 1769 GA and died sometime after 1850. He married Nicy Henderson on 26 Nov 1798 in Bulloch Co,GA. Nicy was born 1782 GA and also died after 1850. Nicy Henderson was the daughter of Michael Henderson & Marie (Remer).
5. Jacob & Nicy's daughter was our ancestor Mary "Pollie" Nevill.
I have loaned out the information in James Nevill's folder to a relative so they could make copies. If you will email me in about a week. I will send you further information on the ship passage to America and the land grants.
