Trying to connect my gggg grandfather
Reuben to some of his immediated family of
brothers, parents, uncles etc. He came to North Carolina, USA from Iraland around 1970 as a young man or boy. His married Nancy Stratton in Wilkes Co. N.C. in 1797.
First son Richard Franklin Giddens born in 1798 in Wilkes Co. Family was in Ky in 1810 and 1820. then ILL around 1825. Reuben and family came to Red River Co, Texas in the 1830's Richard is my ggg grandfather. He and my gg, g, and grandfather are all buried in Concord Cemetery in R.R. Co. (near Clarksville, Tx)
Reuben was probably born in 1780. He died in 1854. There are several groups of Giddens families in Texas and Oklahoma. I
am trying to connect to them. I would appreciate very much and information on an Iraland connection.
