I have a l-o-n-g line of GIDDENS in LA and have a John (NMN) b abt 1770 place unk; death, burial & spouse unk.
Two known children: Ella J b abt 1790 in AL w/no more info & Jacob GIDDENS b 1794 NC, d 1873 LA; m 1817 GA - 8 known children with lots of descendants. Most, if not all, migrated to LA. No Erastus, however.
