Isaac Gibson died at Amherst County, Virginia in 1789. He was married to Frances. He was probably the son of Jacob and Jane Gibson of Prince William County, Virginia.

Can anyone fill in the missing children in this family?

Here are the children that I know of;

1. Jenny Gibson, b. c1756. d. c1782/1787, probably Lincoln County, Kentucky. She married Israel Harman of Montgomery County, Virginia in about 1774/17778. Jenny had three living children in 1791, Stephen, Samuel and Sarah Harmon/Harman.

2. Polly Gibson, b. c1762. d. after 1813, Amherst County, Virginia. She married Joshua Shelton (1749-1813) as his second wife in December 1801 at Amherst County.

3. Jacob Gipson, b. c1764. He married Jane Tyree, daughter of Jacob Tyree on 28 Mar 1791 at Amherst County, Virginia. He signed his name "Jacob Gipson" in Virginia records and was probably the Jacob Gipson who lived in Casey County, Kentucky.

4. Betsy Gibson, b. c1766. She was a spinster when she married William Atkinson a bachelor on 13 Aug 1787 at Amherst County, Virginia.

5. Child, b. c1770.
