I am researching my grandfathers side of the family, I am in particular looking for his grandmother and great grandmother Arminda J Gibson (married a Winfield Scott Harper) her mother Mary married a James B Gibson, I believe she may be Cherokee Indian. I can find no birth or death records on her or no last name. my grandfather who was Hiawatha L Clinton told my mother as a little girl that either his mother or grandmother were Full blooded Cherokee Indian.
