Brian, I have not meant you were responsible for the misinformation that was put in the Missouri obituary. It is just that it should not continue to be repeated. Not unless A death certificate, newspaper account of where, when death occured. etc. Where is he buried. Newspapers only put in what someone else passes on. One thing in this modern day technology, if there had been an accident or some other type of death, it would be documented. That is why I am saying document, document, document! So here is an open letter. I will welcome somone documenting the death of Ivan Henry Gibler. This man was born in Germany when his Father was stationed there. A half sister gave the information of death 1989. Our family (paternal Aunts) contacted law enforcements, Counties and libraries to try and find an obit or accident report. None never found. I have no idea of what SS# for an American citizen born out of the country while Father in Armed Forces, perhaps would help. So if anyone reading this comes across an Ivan that would be 51 years old and Black eyes and hair (unless he became bald in the mean time. Feel free to pass on to him both his Mother and Father have passed away. We will welcome the news if nothing else know where his resting place. Thank you. Sincerely. Charlotte Gibler Muckey
