Hello Marilyn,

I have Gibbison/Gibbeson from Newcastle upon Tyne area. William Gibbison m. Ann Hall, children Ann b.1792, Eleanor b. 1794, Jane 1797, Joseph b.1799, Ann b. 1801, Matthew b. 1804, Mary b. 1806, William b. 1807 (my g.g.grandfather) and John b.1810.

G.g.grandfather William m. Margaret Potter, children Thomas b. 1834 (my g.grandfather), Ann b. 1837 and Margaret b. 1842. Wife Margaret died, William and children came to Australia with my g.grandfather spelling name Gibbeson - now there are many Gibbesons living in Australia.
