I'm not sure. All I know is that my Matthew White Gibbs was born in Bedford Va. in 1779 and had moved to NC by 1851. My great grandmother Julia Cynthia was born in Cabarrus Co. NC in 1851. Her mother was Lucy Ann Deaton born 1813 Chatham Co. NC. I have very little information on Matthew.
