My maternal great-grandfather was Patrick Thomas Gibbons, born in December 1849 in Ireland (most likely County Mayo or County Galway.) He emigrated to the US and settled in Lackawanna County, PA in 1880. After his first wife passed away, he married Bridget Mulhern (who was born in May 1867) in 1891. Patrick was believed to have had 23 children, including 10 or more with Bridget. Patrick passed away on October 19, 1919. After his death, Bridget moved to or near the Back-of-the-Yards neighborhood in Chicago. She is buried at St. Joseph cemetery in River Grove, IL along with two of her children (Anna and James), a granddaughter (Romaine), and a great-grandson (Henry).

Please feel free to contact me if you believe this is the Bridget Mulhern you are searching for. I have additional information concerning several of her children.

Kim Marren, Chicago
