Gibbon Family of Llawhaden, Pembrokeshire, Wales
Posted by: James Koester (ID *****2087) Date: April 25, 2005 at 06:44:44

I am looking for any information on this family.

All I know is that Martha Gibbon and Thomas Hodges were married after banns by the Llawhaden parish priest on 16 November 1826. Martha was described as being :of the parish" while Thomas was from Lawrenny. I have found six children of Martha and Thomas (Annie Lloyd Gibbon, b. 1827; Isaac, b. 1833; Benjamin Gibbon, b. 1834; Thomas, b. 1836; Thomas (again), b. 1839; and Sarah Gibbon, b. 1842). The last two were baptized at St. Aidan's Church, Llawhaden.

If anyone has information on Martha, her parents, siblings or children, I would appreciate it.

Thanks, James
