Grissell Gibbon was the wife of Robert Lawrence, son of Sir John Lawrence, Baronet of London. Robert immigrated from England to Isle of Wite Co., VA, about 1638.

I have seen it documented that Grissell was the daughter of Gervase Gibbon and Frances Maynard, and also Gervase and Grysell Byrde. Does anyone know which mother is correct? The Gibbons are possibly from Benenton, Kent, England.
