I'm researching the ancestors of Louisa Holland GIBBONS, b abt 1818 in
Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England; the daughter of Samuel GIBBINS and
Sarah HOLLAND. She emmigrated to the US in 1849 and married Simeon
Daggett CARTER.

The problem that I'm running into is that there are two sets of Samuel
GIBBINS married to Sarah in the Cheltenham area about the same time. I
know of a Samuel Browning GIBBINS of Miserden married to Sarah
HAVILAND. I also know of a Samuel GIBBINS and a Sarah HOLLAND, both of
Cowley, born about the same era, but no marriage record.

Is there anyone who has information about this family that would shed
light on who are the real parents? Thanks.
