I don't know if anyone is interested but I am also a Gibbens. I live in London, England and was intruiged to see so many other Gibbens', especially in the states. My father is Barnaby John Gibbens, son of Gerald and Diedre Gibbens. My Great Grandfather was George Gibbens who married Lady Hartley, the daughter of Sir William Hartley. They met on one of the very first Cooks Tours in around 1884 when they both toured through Italy, Egypt and Palestine. Any further back than that is beyond my meagre knowledge but I could find out from my father if anyone is interested.
