I am looking for information on my great grandmother who
was Kitty Gibbons from Oklahoma. I was told by my
grandmother that Kitty was Cherokee. She married my
great grandfather John Evans in Oklahoma, they left in
the middle of the night on a quit claim deed and moved
to Arkansas. My grandmother May Alice Evans was born
in Arkansas. They left Arkansas and moved to Louisana
where my great grandmother died. I have been trying to
trace family history regarding Kitty but have not been
able to find anything on her.
