Vern Gibbens SE Nebraska 1920s

I am searching for information on Vern Gibbens, 1920s newpaper editor and businessman in SE Nebraska. He published at least three newspapers in Richardson County NE. He started the "Verdon Delphic" (motto - "We make it worth the money") in March 1920 which ran until May 1921, and then moved his newspaper plant to Dawson, where he started another paper. I am unable to find the name of this paper. In July 1922, he moved again, to Falls City, the county seat, where he established a third paper, the "Richardson County Globe," (motto - "it's all here") which also didn't last very long. He seems to have used the "Globe" to promote his running for state office; he wasn't successful. At this point, he seems to have disappeared from the records. Did he move again and establish another newspaper? Any information would be helpful.
