Jennifer,

I am curious about your g-grandfather, John Giardina. My Grandfather, Rosario Piazza, came to the US in 1923 and was sponsored by his Uncle Guiseppi Giardina who was living in Brooklyn, N.Y. at that time. Your g-grandfather John had two brothers, Guiseppe and Sam. Could this Guiseppe be the same one? Do you know if he was born in New Orlean along with your g-grandfather? Rosario was born in Cefalu, Sicily which struck me as coincidental. I don't know much about the Giardina Family except that this Guiseppi Giardina was listed as Rosario's point of destination from Ellis Island.
Was he born in the US? Did he ever live in Brooklyn N.Y.? Do you have any info on John's father Salvatore?
